History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: Born in the west to a Detective, Avice learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Detective hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Detective for hire.
