Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Lance is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lance fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was born into a rich family. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. Recently the stress of being a Spice Merchant has made it difficult for her to sleep.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He worked as a nervous Spice Merchant and found it very stressful. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Spice Merchant for hire.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
