Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, John embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: John was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. History: Born to a Painter, his father struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Laborer for the past few years.

History: The child of a Dyer, who enjoyed hunting, Avelina was taken on many hunting expeditions. A freak accident while working with her Dyer father left her crippled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
