Personality: He is fixated on the number 40. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Guard. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.

Personality: Williamina is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: The child of a Slave Trader, who enjoyed hunting, Williamina was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She bought a shortbow and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and wants to raise his children well
