History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Tim was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Tim's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. When Anne reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help.
