She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Emma and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: She was born in the east. A gifted student she started as a Architect, but she got bored and became a Shoemaker. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Shoemaker responsibilities is difficult; and to prove her worth to the world

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
