Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hugolina embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She is a great chef.

History: Hugolina was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying sister.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Born in the north to a Architect, Conrad learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She got into the Dyer business at a young age. A gifted student she started as a Priest, but she got bored and became a Dyer. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
