History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Melissa was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She bought a glaive and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.
