History: He was born into a rich family. Dean was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Engraver. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born to a Apothecary, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and doesn't want to be a bookbinder and was forced into it by his family
