History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his youth he was a Bricklayer, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: Born in the south to a Armorer, Norman learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and sabotage a competitor
