History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Through the years after Richard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Richard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
