History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Hubert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she wears light armors faded through time and improper care. She has dyed her greying chestnut hair a little too much giving a sharp chestnut color. Her half smiles and violet eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 64. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Oriel was born on a far southern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Spice Merchant. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
