History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Williamina was born on a far southern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Shoemaker. She became a Shoemaker soon after.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and balancing her hectic life and new shoemaker responsibilities is difficult
