History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Painter father left him crippled. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
