When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Stylist hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Sarah embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: She comes from a rich western family. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Mary was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: She was born into a rich family. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs; and she's looking for her big break
