The war was a terrible time for him, and Adam does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born into a rich family. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. After a long history of fighting, Elizabeth and her spouse have recently divorced.
