History: The child of a Bricklayer, who enjoyed hunting, Bertram was taken on many hunting expeditions. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Human culture. The war was a terrible time for her, and Eva does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Eva was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: Giselle was born with her father's beautiful face. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Giselle fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
