She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and doesn't want to be a apothecary and was forced into it by her family

History: Born to a Brewer, her father struggled to pay the bills. She always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
