She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. After a long history of fighting, Hugolina and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
