Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Barrister but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Gilbert was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.

Description: An older woman who typically wears white cloth garments or leather armor, she is not a threatening figure. Her red hair is heavily combed to the right. She has green eyes and a white hat with a red feather.

Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Painter. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Painter for the past few years.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Description: He wears a worn and beaten armor, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'0" when asserting himself. His hair is short and blonde. His green eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he has the majority of his body covered in plate. He wears his auburn hair up in a very large beehive style do. He has a dull look in his brown eyes.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Peter was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
