History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Helen was born on a far eastern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Map Maker. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
