Personality: She hates illithids. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. The war was a terrible time for her, and Jacoba does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
