Description: A middle-aged man, he usually wears his black robe and has his bow always slung over his shoulder, and is pretty ugly. He sports a flattop hair cut. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. Gomory is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Map Maker they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Miller, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Description: This woman stands a little under 4'11" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down. Her white hair is smooth and relatively long. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Being a Spice Merchant kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
