History: Born in the east to a Scribe, Lance learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longsword.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: She is witty, but her monotone delivery comes off as unnerving She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She bought a rapier and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Marshal. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She disdains her fellow westerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
