History: Born to a Tanner, her father struggled to pay the bills. A gifted student she started as a Tanner, but she got bored and became a Armorer. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 15 years.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Gilbert was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Gilbert's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids.

History: Miles hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and many illithids want him driven away
