History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Chad was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Chad's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Herbalist arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
