History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Through the years after Anne was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Anne's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
