She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Armorer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: Gerald hails from a village terrorized by orcs. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
