History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ermina was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. She keeps her red hair in a flapper bob. Her eyes are likewise green. Her teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Layabout business.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and wants to work out more often

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and wants his loneliness to end

Personality: Arnold is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He now mingles about in high society.
