Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bertram embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away.

History: He was born in the east. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: This woman loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Anne liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has never given up on her singing dream.
