Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: He was born into a rich family. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is greedy

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
