History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Beatrice liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Percival was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and doesn't want to be a painter and was forced into it by his family
