Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Born in the south to a Spy, Eloise learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: Hugh was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants; and wants to work out more often

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with her Engraver father left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
