Description: She is typically in her Stableman uniform, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 5'11" when asserting herself. She has dyed her greying chestnut hair a little too much giving a sharp chestnut color. Her eyes are likewise violet. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: Gifted from a young age, Egelina studied abroad. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Stableman. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and sabotage a competitor

Description: He has a missing right leg. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized blue coat. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to cover his moderate length red hair. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Roland was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Roland's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His blonde hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a small hat. His green eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Guard born in the past three hundred years. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Tanner profession.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and to be a tanner again

Description: A woman of a pale complexion, she prefers to wear flannel. She has shaved her head bald. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She takes great joy in being the best Scribe in town.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She has achieved small success as a Scribe.

Motivation: She is content.
