When her mother died while fighting goblins, the young Matilda began to lead the lost caravan. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Guard profession.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gilbert grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. History: Herleva was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Beggar work with an outfit from a few towns over.
