Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Lance grew up listening to his mother's many stories. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Being a Bookbinder kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Agnes hails from a village terrorized by illithids. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
