History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Everard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: She hates goblins. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She uses divination through singing.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Elysande grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Elysande. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
