Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: Gerard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Gerard took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up longsword and armor he uses now. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Stylist they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Bookbinder, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Godfrey isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Born in the south to a Navigator, Godfrey learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Navigator work with an outfit from a few towns over. Navigator work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Gerard was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bellfounder. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
