History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Cook arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Some 2 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Rosalind never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Beatrice was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Guard. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
