She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Avice was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. History: He comes from a rich southern family. Through the years after Gerard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Gerard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Barrister for hire.
