History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
