However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the orcs.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Nicholas took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up falchion and armor he uses now. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Simon grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable.

Description: This man is very fat, and does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady hazel eyes.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Shipwright who has hired him part-time. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Alex lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shipwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.
