His hair is long and chestnut with streaks of brown, and is pulled back with small grey clips. His beard is brown, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are blue and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Heward was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Heward alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born in the west. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Thomas never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
