History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Lance grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Lance. He was granted druidic powers by his dying brother.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has taken up work as a Crown-heir and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
