Description: A woman of a pale complexion, she wears a grey small hat and grey clothes. She has dyed her greying silver hair a little too much giving a sharp silver color. This green eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing poetry.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered poetry. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. She wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. She wears her hair in dreadlocks. Her eyes are likewise amber.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Description: This northern woman is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. Her clothes are grease stained in places. Her white hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the north. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to reunite with her old friends

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down. Her hair is silver, silky, and of moderate length. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her brown eyes.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Galiena was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Galiena was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Human compassion; and many dire rats want her driven away
