He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Randal was born with his mother's beautiful face. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To protect his home; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has never given up on her painting dream.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Sage but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A freak accident while working with his Barkeep mother left him crippled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
