One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Everard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's also a talented Unemployed, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hammer.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.
