History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Diggory was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Diggory's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Bertram was born the youngest of three triplets. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sculptor they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Ploughman, and he later adopted a second daughter.

He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.
