Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature spear.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Anne grew up listening to her father's many stories. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bellfounder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Wants a kiss; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is her passion

Her golden hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Marshal responsibilities is difficult.
