History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Being a Spice Merchant kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Scribe and was forced into it by her family; and she uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He's also a talented Brewer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Brewer again; and he is unsatisfied with his job
